Buon Halloween a tutti - parte 1

Le barriere architettoniche, così spaventose che in Italia solo in pochi si avvicinano per eliminarle."

Facciamo nostre le parole di Umberto Guidoni vicepresidente di Anmic Parma e fine commentatore che, con garbo e vis comica, scrive sempre sulle questioni che riguardano la disabilità, in maniera lucida e oggettiva.

Sappiamo che questo 31 ottobre è stato molto partecipato anche dalla popolazione con disabilità e questo è un bel segnale di inclusione e quindi di affermazione dei diritti della categoria.

Lascio alcune foto che vengono principalmente da siti americani, nazione dove per esempio, nelle catene di negozi di abbigliamento vendono anche i costumi per chi è sulla sedia a rotelle.

Persone rotellate in costume questa notte significa che ci sono molti luoghi accessibili, il che è sempre una buona notizia.

il nostro pese invece si è beccato l'ennesima stangata dal parlamento europeo perchè non applica la direttiva comunitaria sull'abbattimento dele barriere, il cui adempimento scadeva addirittura nell'estate 2022.

Come paese abbiamo per esempio un appuntamento importante con l'accessibilità mondiale che è Milano-Cortina 2026. Al momento tiene banco solo l'annosa polemica sulla pista da bob mentre comunicati, progetti, call etc sula pianificazione dell'abbattimento delle barriere e dell'allestimento per rendere accessibili non solo i luoghi ma anche i siti web dell'importante kermesse sportiva a livello planetario non se ne vede manco l'ombra.

Finora abbiamo solo letto di 15 milioni di euro stanziati per rendere accessibile l'Arena di Verona che sarà teatro della manifestazione di chiusura delle olimpiadi/paralimpiadi invernali.

Ma ricordiamo che esistono ben due sentenze, di due differenti tribunali, che condannano il Comune di Verona e la fondazione che gestisce l'Arena a sbarrierare i luoghi come vuole la legge e come indicherebbe il padroneggiare una cultura attenta ai bisogni di tutti.

Per una sera intanto lasciamoci andare alla festa dopo aver usato la nostra creatività per creare costumi anche stando sulle rotelle e complimenti a tutti!
